16:59:32  <williamkapke>Hey build folks, anyone know what happened to the nightly builds on linux?
16:59:45  <williamkapke>they are MIA
16:59:49  <williamkapke>example: https://nodejs.org/download/nightly/v7.0.0-nightly20160827c8619ea3c3/
17:06:38  <mhdawson>They look to be failing with this message

17:09:06  <mhdawson>Looks like download path was added in https://github.com/nodejs/node/pull/3200 but that was almost a year ago
17:11:45  <mhdawson>This landed June 5 https://github.com/nodejs/node/commit/2cd99eb0a0f39f9244ba40d0c7c43ff28fc86b60
17:16:26  <mhdawson>It looks like the last scheduled run at 5AM that passed was on Aug 25
17:16:45  <mhdawson>So I'm guessing there may be some new apis that were introduced after that point
17:18:05  <jbergstroem>i'll have a look
17:18:25  <mhdawson>Release process covers replacing REPLACEME tags, but not sure how that is supposed to work for nightlys
17:18:25  <mhdawson>https://github.com/nodejs/node/blob/e1c042e2dcb672d495e7a5ceb0ffe7f70a899083/doc/releases.md
17:18:34  <williamkapke>woot. thanks guys
17:21:19  <jbergstroem>mhdawson: suggesting we patch for nightlies
17:21:23  <jbergstroem>mhdawson: thoughts?
17:21:48  <mhdawson>Do you know who was involved in adding the validation ?
17:21:52  <mhdawson>probably good to get their input
17:22:52  <mhdawson>it was addaleax, I'm thinking that we should probably just not check for nightlies
17:23:06  <mhdawson>but would be good to check with her so that we know if that fits with the original intention
17:24:54  <mhdawson>A search on nighly in https://github.com/nodejs/node/issues/6578# does not have any hits so I'm guessing nobody though of it
17:49:58  <jbergstroem>mhdawson: yeah that's my assessment too -- it just fell out of mind. I'd just keep the replaceme stuff in nightlies
17:50:38  <mhdawson>sounds resonable
17:50:51  <jbergstroem>i'll talk to her
17:51:06  <mhdawson>So are you going to update the Makefile file to know its a nightly and not run the step or somthing else ?
17:51:37  <jbergstroem>i'd check for nightly or changed replaceme's

21:25:58  <Trott>armv7-ubuntu1404 was failing over and over earlier, stopped failing for two builds but seems like it might be back to failing to build again. Here's the last run: https://ci.nodejs.org/job/node-test-commit-arm/nodes=armv7-ubuntu1404/4736/console
21:31:09  <Trott>On the Raspberry Pi side, test-nodesource_ceejbot-debian7-arm-pi1p-1 seems to be not building. https://ci.nodejs.org/job/node-test-binary-arm/3548/RUN_SUBSET=6,label=pi1-raspbian-wheezy/ https://ci.nodejs.org/job/node-test-binary-arm/3549/RUN_SUBSET=3,label=pi1-raspbian-wheezy/

22:48:52  <rvagg>Trott, jbergstroem the arm ubuntu1404 failures will be due to new hardware I introduced. Will take a look soon. The pi that's failing isn't the one I took out of action but I'll grab that one too and test the SD. Thanks

23:47:30  <rvagg>Trott, jbergstroem: test-nodesource_ceejbot-debian7-arm-pi1p-1's problem was a stale NFS handle, not properly mounted, armv7 machines were not the ones I was thinking of, they are the scaleway ones, I've done some upgrades, cleaned out workspaces and rebooted
