16:16:13  <vpovirk>(just something I threw together yesterday, but afaik there's no existing equivalent)

17:30:21  <virmitio>to those whom I have provisioned VMs for:
17:31:32  <virmitio>I'm going to be rebuilding the host that those VMs are hosted on. If you want to keep your VM(s), I need to know very very shortly so I can migrate them to another host.
17:32:53  <auroraeosrose>you can kill mine, I keep losing it anyway
17:34:16  <virmitio>anyone else?
17:37:33  <virmitio>alright, I'm going to head down to the rack to do this thing
17:37:53  <virmitio>if I'm not back by tomorrow, assume I died
18:27:27  <virmitio>not dead yet
18:28:53  <vpovirk>good start
18:44:05  <auroraeosrose>cops watching the looney toon right by the edge of the water in rhode island on the weather channel - get away from the sea wall stupid reporter!
18:46:40  <virmitio>auroraeosrose: but it seemed like a good idea at the time...
18:48:08  <auroraeosrose>LOL
18:48:17  <auroraeosrose>yeah.... when you can't stand up and the water is splashing you
18:48:21  <auroraeosrose>might be a good time to MOVE

22:26:00  <d0cipx>does this application work for windows 7 as well? all of the references I'm seeing state xp.
22:28:54  <madewokherd>yes
22:29:00  <d0cipx>Regarding the removal of duplicate packages, in the example documentation zlib was used, what would happen if a particular application utilized it's own custom version of zlib outside of the normal one which is installed? How would the removal process handle that type of exception?
22:30:31  <madewokherd>presumably that dll would be in the application directory, so I don't see the problem
22:31:03  <madewokherd>coapp isn't going to remove things it didn't install
22:32:02  <d0cipx>oh ok, i was wondering if it listed applications in the current program files directory to make a database of what was already existing or not but i guess that answers my question
22:49:16  <d0cipx>is there an estimated release date or a beta download location? all i'm showing is "This is a placeholder document -- actual content coming soon"
22:50:46  <d0cipx>or actually, i'm guessing the download is: coapp-1.2.0.452-any.msi
